Wesley Clover Parks will host its fourth annual ‘Ottawa Horse Day’ on Saturday, June 4.  The free family event brings people of all ages together with horses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience ponies and horses up close and personal and to learn more about horse-related activities.

Ottawa Horse Day will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wesley Clover Parks in the heart of the nation’s capital.  Equestrian demonstrations and activities will include the Canadian Pony Club’s Prince Philip Games, a breed parade, show jumping and polo exhibitions, the Wesley Clover Parks Young Riders’ Musical Ride, Parelli Natural Horsemanship and much more.

Ottawa Horse Day will also offer an extensive kids’ zone including face painting from 12 to 3 p.m., bouncy slides, and carriage and pony rides.

In between activities, guests can visit on-site vendors including the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton (TROtt), Dessert Fest, Equine Canada and Greenhawk, and enjoy refreshments from Yum Sweet Yum, Jane’s Catering, It’s Lemonade Time, and Jimmy Dean’s Ice Cream.
