Eight pairs advanced to the jump-off, but it was Aaron Vale (USA) and Major, a 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding owned by Don Stewart and Sleepy P Ranch LLC, that topped the field for a third time this summer circuit.
An additional $5,000 was awarded to Kyle Dewar and Clever Van De Helle, who jumped the fastest four-fault round of Saturday night’s $75,000 Lugano Diamonds Grand Prix, in 72.341 seconds. The non-award winning entry that received the Luck of the Draw $5,000 prize was Tricia O'Connor and KT Adonis.
