Stall and Entry Reminder for 2023 Fall Series and Midwest Indoors at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington

Entries and stall reservations remain open for the World Equestrian Center – Wilmington 2023 Fall Classic Series and Midwest Indoors horse shows. Exhibitors can look forward to elite hunter/jumper competition along with weekly family-friendly events and onsite dining and lodging.

With a new and improved Paddock Club menu, updated items in the International Grille & Cafe, weekly family-friendly activities and newly added featured classes, World Equestrian Center welcomes exhibitors back to Wilmington for the fall season!

The 2023 Fall Series will feature two $75,000 grands prix and more than $1 million in prizes and prize money. New this year, Fall Classic IV will feature a $1,500 Hunt Team class to be held in the R+L Arena. Fall Classic V will host a $2,500 Gambler’s Choice .90-1.0m class and a $3,500 Gambler’s Choice 1.10-1.15m class. A costume contest will be held during Fall Classic V with a $250 prize for the champion and a $150 prize for the reserve champion.

In addition, Midwest Indoors II will play host to the prestigious WEC Medal Finals! Qualifiers will be emailed invitations, and qualifying opportunities will continue at all shows leading up to the finals.

The World Equestrian Center – Wilmington 2023 fall schedule includes the following dates and ratings:

  • September 27 – October 1:  Fall Classic I USEF Premier/Level 4 Jumper
  • October 4 – October 8:  Fall Classic II USEF Premier/Level 4 Jumper
  • October 11 – October 15: Fall Classic III USEF Premier/Level 5 Jumper
  • October 18 – October 22: Fall Classic IV USEF Premier/Level 5 Jumper
  • October 25 – October 29: Fall Classic V USEF Premier/Level 5 Jumper

The World Equestrian Center – Wilmington 2023 Midwest Indoors shows include the following dates and ratings:

  • November 8 – November 12:  Midwest Indoors I
  • November 15 – November 19: Midwest Indoors II & WEC Medal Finals
  • November 29 – December 3: Winter Classic 1

Reserve Your Onsite Lodging at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington
Guests are advised to make lodging reservations at their earliest convenience to ensure they secure accommodations close to the showgrounds. Reservations can be made at wec.net or by calling 937-382-0985 ext. 3

World Equestrian Center -- Wilmington has a myriad of onsite lodging options for guests:

  • The Wilbur Estate –The Wilbur Estate is a stunning plantation-style mansion with five elegant luxury suites. Wilbur’s Estate is centrally located on the showgrounds, just steps from arenas, stabling, and the Paddock Club. Free WiFi and VIP parking are included in your stay at Wilbur Estate.
  • Cabins – Each cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is within walking distance from the arenas and barns. Two of the cabins are handicap accessible. Free WiFi included.
  • Home Away From Home Park – Directly across the street from the horse show entrance, the 130 home away from home units have two or three bedrooms with a fully equipped kitchen and living and dining room area. Free WiFi included.
  • Camping Sites – The World Equestrian Center has many camping sites equipped with electric, water, and sewer for $225 per week (or any portion thereof). You must reserve these on your entry form or stall reservation form. Please check in at the horse show office for a pass prior to parking your RV.
