Olympic Athletes, Racing Ponies, and Charity Events Highlight the 2017 Washington International Horse Show

October 10, 2017 – Washington, D.C. – There will be something for everyone at the 2017 Washington International Horse Show (WIHS). The world’s number one and number two show jumpers, Americans Kent Farrington and McLain Ward, lead a strong field in competition. Adorable Shetland ponies will race for top billing, and charity events each night make WIHS North America’s most exciting and entertaining equestrian event. The 59th annual WIHS will be held on October 24-29, 2017, at Capital One Arena in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Media Accreditation Now Open for Royal Horse Show

October 10, 2017 – Toronto, Ontario – Media accreditation applications are now being accepted for the Royal Horse Show, held as part of the 95th Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, from November 3 through 12, 2017, at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario.

Augusta Iwasaki and Small Affair Are Grand at Capital Challenge Horse Show

October 8, 2017 –Upper Marlboro, MD – The Capital Challenge Horse Show, presented by the World Equestrian Center, came to a close on Sunday, October 8, with the awarding of the final Junior and Children’s Hunter championships. The Grand Junior Hunter Championship went to Augusta Iwasaki of Calabasas, CA, riding Small Affair, owned by Lyn Pedersen.
